Hello, my name is Juan Ibanez, 

My passion for coaching started when my education at Saint Josephs University was coming to an end. I graduated with degree in Sports Marketing, and also had the opportunity to spend a summer coaching strength and conditioning trainings for athletes across various sports. This experience fueled my passion for athletic development.

After graduating and working full time as a trainer, I moved from Philadelphia to New Jersey. I worked with multiple soccer associations, helping players refine their skills and to improve their physical performance. In addition to coaching soccer, I gained valuable experience coaching at a speed school, focusing on developing young athletes into NCAA-ready competitors by enhancing their strength, agility, and explosiveness.

Beyond my degree and the knowledge I garnered at SJU, I have continued to expand my expertise in kinesiology through online accredited courses and hands-on experience working with youth athletes. My approach combines science-backed training methods with real-world coaching insights.

I created Vida Fitness Training to help more athletes in the area reach their big athletic goals and to reach their NCAA potential. My passion for athletic development, combined with years of experience, inspired me to build a brand that provides top-tier training tailored to each athlete’s individual needs.

One of the biggest reasons why I started VFT was to create a strong sense of community. A place where athletes can express themselves as athletes and also where athletes can grow together, in a supportive environment. I also wanted the freedom to design and adapt training programs based on my own experience, ensuring that every session is structured for maximum results. 

At VFT, my goal is to create an atmosphere where athletes not only improve physically but also build confidence, discipline, and a mindset for success—both on and off the field.
